Animals have been present in my life since childhood, I have always had great affection for them. So far, I often understand them better than other people. One of my first adult dogs was the American Bulldog Boss, with whom I took part in defense training. My love for the american pit bull terrier came with Demon. He was the perfect dog for me. Having him, I became interested in dog sports. After he passed, I started going to TTB competitions, initially only as a spectator.
After a few years I bought a pit bull from Hungarian kennel – Joker, and after a year Hola Lola joined us. At that time, we were already actively participating in competitions in Poland and abroad. Joker turned out to be a universal dog, often achieving podium positions or winning in wall climbing, tug of war and weight pulling. Lola, on the other hand, showed predispositions to such competitions as treadmill, weight drag pull, lure coursing or wall climbing. She also wins high places at exhibitions, and recently received the title of champion of ADBA (American Dog Breeders Association).
At the end of 2021, a third dog joined us – Big Boy, Joker’s son. You can say that I fell in love with him the moment I saw him for the first time. Something about him immediately grabbed me.
From a puppy he was prepared to participate in the weight pulling competition, of course the training was adapted to his age. He has already started them with his breeder. You should be aware that participation in this competition requires consistent work with the dog – anyone who would like to try it must be aware of this.
When Big Boy was 9 months old, he took part in the first ADBA competition in Belgium, finishing second in his weight class twice. Later he took part in Poland, taking first place. He showed his best performance during the three-day competition in Germany, winning all starts and winning cups for the highest weight pulled. I knew from the very beginning that he had excellent predispositions, but I never expected that we would be able to achieve so much at such a young age. The most important thing, however, is that thanks to joint training, the bond that has been established between us is even stronger.
