In the BARFER Spirulina product, we use spirulina of the Arhtorspira plantesis species. It is characterized by a high content of nutrients. At the same time, it is completely safe, because freshwater algae of the genus Arthrospira do not produce neurotoxins.
Spirulina supplements the dog’s diet with a number of amino acids, vitamins, trace elements and other biochemically active substances in a highly absorbable form.
Effects of spirulina on the body
Spirulina increases the body’s ability to regenerate post-workout muscles.
It strengthens the immune system and has an antihistamine effect, thanks to which it reduces allergic reactions. It is also used in anticancer prophylaxis.

Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) – a fatty acid extremely important for the body. It supports the development of a young, growing organism. GLA is a precursor to prostaglandins, responsible for the production of hormones that control many important life functions.
Vitamins – spirulina is a source of B vitamins and carotenoids, such as beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin and others.
