Important information: Dog beta-1,3/1,6-glucan supplementation gives the best effect with prolonged and regular use. The optimal stimulation of the immune mechanisms occurs after 72 hours (3 days) from the start of administration of this substance.
Attention! The active ingredient in Game Dog Functional Treats Immunity:
β-1,3/1,6-glucan – a polysaccharide (sugar compound), found in significant amounts naturally in the walls of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. When taken orally, it is absorbed by immune cells in the intestines (macrophages), which triggers immune mechanisms. As a result, the number of white blood cells, which perform defensive functions in the body against various pathogens, increases. Also recommended for chronic or recurrent infections. A stronger immune response of the body allows you to limit and slow down the development of cancer processes.
Scientific research shows a positive effect on the intestinal biota, where beta-glucan acts as a prebiotic. The addition of beta-glucan in the diet allows the growth of normal bacterial cultures in the digestive tract, thus limiting the possibility of development of pathogenic bacteria.
Numerous scientific studies confirm the increase in the effectiveness of vaccinations in dogs that were supplemented with β-1,3/1,6-glucan. Their organisms have a higher titer of antibodies produced against pathogens administered in vaccines, unlike animals vaccinated without supplementation.
In the event of allergic reactions, supplementing the diet with β-1,3/1,6-glucan reduces the production of IgE antibodies, which are produced in allergic conditions that cause various symptoms.
Beta-glucan has an effect on lowering the level of cholesterol in the blood, which is why it can be useful in slimming therapies.
