Prostate Protect is a product for dogs that supports the proper functioning of the prostate. Prostatic hypertrophy (BHT) is common in unneutered adult and older dogs and can affect up to 90% of dogs over 4 years of age. BHT causes a number of ailments that reduce the comfort of the dog’s functioning, such as difficulty in urinating or uncontrolled urination, difficulty with defecation and a tendency to diarrhea or pain in the lower abdomen. It can also cause frequent inflammation of the bladder and urinary tract. Due to the late appearance of symptoms, when the disease is already advanced, it is worth taking care of the prostate health of mature males earlier.
The advanced formula of the preparation is based on the highest quality active ingredients that reduce the symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia.
The preparation is recommended as a supplement to the diet of adult, non-castrated males, especially in the case of animals used in breeding.

Active ingredients contained in Prostate care
Saw palmetto fruit (Serenoa repens) – inhibits prostatic hyperplasia. Mechanisms of action include anti-androgenic, pro-apoptotic and anti-inflammatory effects. Probably the mechanism of action is based on reducing the activity of the enzyme converting testosterone to DHT. Saw palmetto is also rich in phytosterols. Their presence affects the reduction of cholesterol in the blood, and testosterone is produced from cholesterol (later converted to DHT).
African pygeum bark (African pygeum) – has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Many studies prove its high effectiveness in relieving urinary tract symptoms and prostate inflammation. It reduces the frequency of urination, facilitates urination
Pumpkin seed extract (Curcubita pepo) – the therapeutic effects of pumpkin seed extract include the alleviation of symptoms associated with prostate disorders. It can also support the treatment of bladder complications and diseases of the lower urinary tract. Pumpkin seed extracts can block prostate mass growth and testosterone-induced protein synthesis, inhibiting testosterone-induced hypertrophy. Pumpkin seed extract also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
Willow herb (Epilobium parviflorum) extract – used to relieve BPH, such as difficulty starting to urinate or frequent need to urinate. Traditional uses in Europe and North America include the treatment of BPH, prostatitis, bladder and kidney diseases, and other problems related to the urinary system.
Lycopene – is a non-provitamin A carotenoid with antioxidant activity. It has also been shown to have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects.
Lycopene relieves chronic prostatitis. Studies show that lycopene may be beneficial in preventing prostate cancer.
Glutamic acid (glutamine), Alanine and Glycine – amino acids necessary for the proper functioning of the prostate gland. Glutamine lowers the activity of androgen receptors
Vitamins B, C and E – natural antioxidants. Helpful in alleviating inflammation. They also support the mechanisms of the immune system. B vitamins are essential for the production of testosterone. Vitamin B6 has a regulatory effect. It affects the production of sex hormones in the body
Zinc – an element of great importance for prostate health. Among the tissues of the body, it is in the prostate gland that its greatest concentration is found. Research suggests that long-term zinc deficiency increases the risk of BPH. Zinc limits the production of DHT from testosterone.
All substances present in the Game Dog Prostate Protect product are of the highest quality and meet the human nutritional standards (Human Grade)
